The doctors you will see

Every doctor here is named, with their training. One of them is a Family Medicine Specialist on the National Specialist Register.

Where to find us

On the same street in Kepong Baru since 1981. Walk in any day, no appointment.

Fully anonymous. Your name is never required.

Walk in, get tested and get your results without telling us who you are. What you share stays with your doctor, and nothing is released without your consent.

What happens after you message

  1. Send the message

WhatsApp opens with your message written. Change it if you like, then send. Ask anything before you decide to come in.

  2. Walk in

Any day, 9am to 8pm, at 48, Jalan Lang Kuning, Kepong Baru, Kuala Lumpur. No appointment.

  3. See the doctor

In private. The samples take a few minutes, and lab results generally come back within three working days, explained by the doctor. If you need treatment, it starts here.

What people ask first

I took a risk recently. Is it too early to screen?

It might be. Gonorrhoea and chlamydia show from about day five, HIV and syphilis take some weeks, and past six weeks every common infection shows. Tell us the date on WhatsApp and the doctor will say when the screen is worth doing.

How do the 12 months of HIV re-tests work?

For a year after your screen, walk in any day for an HIV rapid test, as many times as you need. It is a finger prick and takes about 15 minutes. Useful after a new exposure, since one test only covers what happened before it.

Will anyone know why I am there?

No. This is a family clinic, and the same waiting room has people in for blood pressure checks, vaccines and colds. Nobody knows what you came in for, and the front desk does not ask.

Do I have to give my name?

No. You do not have to give one to be seen, and you can test anonymously.

Does it hurt?

A blood draw, a urine sample and a quick swab, plus a Pap smear for women.
