尖锐湿疣是肤色的小突起，可以凸起或扁平，单颗或成簇。它是全世界最常见的性传播感染之一，也经常被误认为别的东西。
- 外阴、阴道、阴茎、阴囊或肛门周围出现肤色或灰色小突起
- 成簇生长，表面像花椰菜，而不是单独一颗
- 搔痒、不适，或性行为时出血
- 口交之后，口腔或咽喉出现突起
- 自己看不到任何东西，但伴侣被诊断出来
- 子宫颈抹片结果异常
生殖器上的肿块并不都是疣。传染性软疣、皮赘、疱疹与梅毒都会被误当成疣，而治疗方式完全不同，所以要检查，不是想当然。
HPV 到底是什么，以及最重要的一个区分
人类乳头瘤病毒（HPV）是一个超过150种病毒的家族，其中40种以上会感染生殖器部位。它经阴道性交、肛交与口交时的皮肤接触传播；安全套能降低风险，但不能消除，因为它盖不住所有接触的部位。
值得记住的区分是：造成肉眼可见疣体的型别，主要是 HPV 第 6 与第 11 型，并不是造成子宫颈癌的型别，后者主要是第 16 与第 18 型。长疣不代表您带有致癌型别，没有长疣也不代表没有。它们的传播方式相同，发现的方法却不同，所以确诊疣之后通常会做更全面的筛检。
尖锐湿疣怎么治疗
有几种选择，按疣的位置、数量，以及已经试过什么来决定。
- 外用药物
- 处方药膏与药水，涂在疣上，使用数周。适合较小、位置可及的病灶，在家里使用，不必到诊所。
- 切除
- 在诊所直接去除疣体。比外用药疗程快，也是较大或数量较多的病灶通常的处理方式。
- 处理复发，而不只是处理疣
- 相当比例的人疣会再长回来，因为治疗清除的是病灶而不是病毒。对于一切都试过仍反复长回来的那一小群人，另有免疫疗法。
- 同时接种疫苗
- Gardasil 9 保护您尚未感染的型别，包括疣型与主要的致癌型别。无论您选择哪种治疗，都值得在同一次咨询时讨论。

The clinic is clean, the staff are professional and welcoming, incredibly efficient. The clinic interior design also calming and made my visits less anxious. The doctors here (Dr. Chan & Dr. Kon - sorry if misspelled) are very attentive, explain briefly to me what the do's and don'ts on after care treatments and for future preventions. I also just learned that this clinic is specialized in skin problems and i refer my dry and ictchy skin problems on my fingers. I've been put some plasters to hide the crack and dry skin for months. The level of care provided was excellent, and the treatment received was highly effective. Healthcare environments can sometimes feel stressful, but this clinic has a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere.
