许多人带着淋病却毫无察觉，女性尤其如此。真的出现症状时，表现取决于感染的部位，而不是病情有多严重。
- 白色、黄色或绿色分泌物，排尿灼痛，或经期之间出血
- 睾丸疼痛或肿胀，或下腹痛
- 直肠分泌物、搔痒、疼痛、出血，或排便时疼痛
- 口交后轻微喉咙痛与颈部淋巴结肿大，咽喉感染通常也就只有这些
- 眼睛红、有刺激感，并有浓稠分泌物
- 完全没有症状，但伴侣已经确诊
发烧、关节疼痛或肿胀、全身性皮疹，或眼睛红痛并有大量分泌物，都表示应该当天就诊。少数情况下，淋病会经血流扩散。
淋病怎么检测
多数人需要的是一份尿液样本。之所以还有拭子，是因为只验尿液常常会漏掉不在尿道的感染。
- 尿液
- 涵盖尿道感染，也是多数人来做的检测。不需要拭子，也不需要检查身体。
- 咽喉与直肠拭子
- 暴露情况或症状指向这些部位时加做。这两个部位，正是只验尿最常漏掉的。
- 阴道或眼部拭子
- 症状出现在这些部位时采样。眼睛感染并有浓稠分泌物，当天就看，不排期。
- 培养与药敏试验
- 需要辨明病原时，由它来指引抗生素的选择。抗药性是真实而且在加剧的问题，所以这一步比从前更重要。
治疗，以及决定治疗是否有效的事
头孢曲松，通常一剂
以注射给药，是目前的第一线治疗。无法使用时，也有其他替代药物。
七天内避免性行为
从疗程结束那天算起，而不是从您开始觉得好转那天算起。
过去60天内的伴侣
也要检测与治疗。与未治疗的伴侣发生性行为会让您再度感染，疗程也就白费。
有时需要治愈检测
咽喉与直肠的感染，以及任何症状持续的病例，要在数周之后做一次。
为什么复查比从前更重要
淋病（美式英文拼作 gonorrhea，英文俗称「the clap」）用对抗生素是可以治愈的。改变的是，二十年来能可靠治好它的抗生素越来越少，抗药菌株已经是常态，而不再罕见。
所以那些看起来像行政手续的事：吃完疗程、等满七天、让伴侣接受治疗、需要时回来做治愈检测，就是治疗本身，而不是治疗之后的附带事项。

The clinic is clean, the staff are professional and welcoming, incredibly efficient. The clinic interior design also calming and made my visits less anxious. The doctors here (Dr. Chan & Dr. Kon - sorry if misspelled) are very attentive, explain briefly to me what the do's and don'ts on after care treatments and for future preventions. I also just learned that this clinic is specialized in skin problems and i refer my dry and ictchy skin problems on my fingers. I've been put some plasters to hide the crack and dry skin for months. The level of care provided was excellent, and the treatment received was highly effective. Healthcare environments can sometimes feel stressful, but this clinic has a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. The interior design is tasteful and calming, using warm colors and great lighting that made my visit much less anxious. It felt more like a wellness center than a clinic. - 淋病怎么诊断？
- 验尿，或按暴露情况与症状，从咽喉、直肠、阴道或眼睛取拭子。
- 淋病怎么治疗？
- 用抗生素，通常是单剂头孢曲松注射。若另有口服疗程，即使症状好转也要吃完。
- 淋病可能没有症状吗？
- 可能，而且很常见，所以查出它的是筛检，不是症状。
- 我的伴侣需要治疗吗？
- 需要。过去60天内的性伴侣都应接受检测与治疗，否则很可能再度感染。
- 治疗后要多久才能有性行为？
- 疗程完成后七天，并且要等到伴侣也接受治疗之后。
- 暴露之后多久可以验淋病？
- 五至七天起。有症状的话不必等，随时到诊。
- 淋病不治疗会怎样？
- 女性可引起骨盆腔发炎、输卵管疤痕化与不孕，男性可引起副睾炎。少数情况下细菌经血流扩散，引起关节感染与皮疹。及早治疗，这些都不会发生。
- 淋病治疗费用多少？
- 性病治疗从 RM 30 起，检测套组从 RM 125 起。确切的费用视检测项目与治疗方案而定，来诊前可以先问我们。
- 口交也会传染淋病吗？
- 会。咽喉的淋病通常没有症状，只有采咽喉拭子才验得到，而它一样会传给别人。
