很少有人一进来就说自己大概是疱疹。他们带来的是一个症状，而且往往是一个他们一直希望会自己好的症状。
- 充满透明液体的小水疱，破裂后留下红肿的溃疡
- 阴道、外阴、阴茎、阴囊、腹股沟、臀部或肛门附近的疼痛溃疡
- 疮口靠近尿道口时，排尿会有灼痛
- 在看得见任何东西之前一两天，皮肤先有刺痛、搔痒或异常敏感
- 同一个位置反复出现的疮口，常在压力、生病、睡眠不足或月经之后出现
可以的话，趁疮口还在的时候来。从活动中的水疱采拭子最能给出明确答案，抗病毒药物也是在头一两天内开始效果最好。
为什么溃疡要看诊，而不是自己猜
生殖器溃疡并不都是疱疹。梅毒、细菌感染、真菌感染与单纯的皮肤刺激，都会长出看起来相似的疮口，而治疗方式完全不同。
疱疹本身也常被误认为痘痘、痱子或过敏反应。这也正是它持续传播的原因之一：症状轻微或未被辨认出来的人，一样会把病毒传出去。
生殖器疱疹怎么诊断
先做检查，再按疮口本身的情况，选择合适的检测。
- 检查
- 病灶的样子、位置，以及到目前为止的变化，在做任何检测之前就能缩小可能的范围。
- HSV 拭子或 PCR
- 从活动中的水疱采取。这是最可靠的检测，也是要趁疮口还在、而不是等它愈合后才来的原因。
- HSV-1 与 HSV-2 抗体
- 血液检测，适用于没有活动病灶可以采拭子，或想知道过去是否曾经感染的情况。
- 更全面的性病筛检
- 出现溃疡就该排除梅毒与 HIV，它们也会长出疮口，而且需要完全不同的治疗。
治疗能改变什么，不能改变什么
疱疹无法从体内清除。对多数人而言，第一栏才是真正要紧的部分。
抗病毒药物能
- 缩短发作，尤其是在头一两天内开始服用
- 减轻发作期间的疼痛
- 以每日抑制疗法服用，减少复发的次数

The clinic is clean, the staff are professional and welcoming, incredibly efficient. The clinic interior design also calming and made my visits less anxious. The doctors here (Dr. Chan & Dr. Kon - sorry if misspelled) are very attentive, explain briefly to me what the do's and don'ts on after care treatments and for future preventions. - 没有发作的时候会传染吗？
- 会。病毒在没有症状的时候也会间歇性地排出，这叫无症状排毒，也是疱疹持续传播的主因。每日抑制疗法与安全套都能降低这个风险，但不能归零。
- 有疱疹还能生孩子吗？
- 可以。怀孕期间告诉产科医生，临产前会给予抗病毒药物；分娩时若有活动性病灶，会建议剖腹产以保护婴儿。
- 疱疹治疗费用多少？
- 性病治疗从 RM 30 起，检测套组从 RM 125 起；抗病毒药物的费用视疗程长短而定。来诊前可以先问我们。
