Adult, childhood and travel vaccines. It is safer to be vaccinated than to have the infection, which is the whole of the argument.
- HPV: Gardasil 9, against the types that cause cervical cancer and genital warts
- Hepatitis A and hepatitis B
- Influenza, and pneumococcal
- Meningococcal, and typhoid
- Tetanus (ATT), and chickenpox
- Rotavirus, and the routine childhood schedule
- Travel vaccines
Walk-ins are accepted. For a vaccine that has to be ordered in, call ahead so it is ready when you arrive.
Packages, and why they are shareable
Vaccines can be taken individually or as a package covering a set of them over time, which works out cheaper than paying for each separately and can be used across family members rather than being tied to one person.
Packages include the consultation, and the larger ones include an abdominal ultrasound scan and, for women, a Pap smear. Which package fits depends on your age, your travel plans and what you have had already.
HPV vaccination, and why it sits with sexual health
Gardasil 9 is the one worth mentioning separately. It is the HPV vaccine for cervical cancer, preventing the HPV types behind most cervical cancer and most genital warts.
It is most effective given before exposure, though it is still worth having afterwards for the types not yet acquired. It is given as a course of doses, usually three over six months depending on your age at the first dose, and it pairs naturally with a sexual health screen.

The individual vaccines
Influenza vaccine
Annual, and there is a specific reason it has to be. Malaysia has no single flu season.
Pneumococcal vaccine
Not annual. For most adults the course is one or two doses, and it is not a substitute for the flu vaccine.
Dengue vaccine
Two doses three months apart, and the second dengue infection is the one it is really aimed at.
Full STD screening
Gardasil 9 pairs naturally with a sexual health screen, and both can be done in one visit.

The clinic is clean, the staff are professional and welcoming, incredibly efficient. The clinic interior design also calming and made my visits less anxious. The doctors here (Dr. Chan & Dr. Kon - sorry if misspelled) are very attentive, explain briefly to me what the do's and don'ts on after care treatments and for future preventions. I also just learned that this clinic is specialized in skin problems and i refer my dry and ictchy skin problems on my fingers. I've been put some plasters to hide the crack and dry skin for months. The level of care provided was excellent, and the treatment received was highly effective. Healthcare environments can sometimes feel stressful, but this clinic has a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere.
