What we treat at Chye Clinic
Confidential sexual health and STD care, circumcision, IV therapy, PRP and physiotherapy — nearly all of it done in one clinic in Kepong, by a Family Medicine Specialist. Walk in during opening hours: daily, 9:00am to 8:00pm.
Sexual health and STD care

STD screening
One STD check covers the infections worth ruling out after an exposure. Testing is confidential, walk-ins are accepted, and every result is explained by the doctor who ordered it rather than handed over as a printout.

HIV testing
A 4th-generation rapid HIV test, confidential, with the result in about 15 minutes. No appointment needed. If you would rather not give a name, you do not have to.

HIV PrEP
PrEP is a daily tablet taken by people who are HIV-negative to keep it that way. Taken consistently, it reduces the risk of getting HIV from sex by around 99%. It needs a prescription, baseline tests, and a check-up every three months.

Herpes and wart immunotherapy
For people whose genital warts or herpes keep coming back despite standard treatment, the problem is usually immune control rather than the treatment itself. This is a longer, supervised programme aimed at that.
Health screening

Health screening
A medical check-up that starts with a doctor rather than a form, so the panel matches your age and history instead of a price tier. Results are explained rather than emailed to you as a PDF.

Health screening by age
A panel that is right at 55 is mostly wasted at 25. This is what each decade actually calls for, why the start date moves when something runs in the family, and how the panel gets decided in the room rather than off a price list.

Comprehensive health screening
The wider tier: everything the standard screening covers, plus the abdominal ultrasound and cervical screening that need more than a blood draw. Worth it when there is something for it to find, and we will tell you when there is not.

Premarital screening
One visit, both of you, answering two different questions: whether either of you carries an infection worth treating now, and whether the two of you together carry a risk worth knowing about before there are children.
Men's health

P-Shot
Platelet-rich plasma from your own blood, injected into the penis for mild to moderate erectile dysfunction. About 30 to 45 minutes, numbed first, and considered after the cause has been looked for rather than instead of looking.

Stem cell therapy for ED
Mesenchymal stem cells, used for erectile dysfunction on the reasoning that the problem is one of blood vessels and tissue. The reasoning is sound. The trial evidence is young, and this page would rather say so than sell you a number.
Circumcision

Adult circumcision
Circumcision in Malaysia as a minor outpatient procedure under local anaesthetic, taking 15 to 30 minutes. You go home the same day. Chye Clinic in Kepong is an authorised provider of the stapler (ZSR) technique.

ZSR stapler circumcision
A disposable device that removes the foreskin and closes the wound in a single action, with no stitches to remove. Chye Clinic is an authorised provider of the technique. This page is about the method itself; if you are deciding whether to have the procedure at all, start with adult circumcision.

Circumcision recovery
Most men are back to light daily activity within two to three days, and fully healed in four to six weeks. What follows is the timeline, the aftercare that matters, and the signs that are worth a phone call rather than a wait.
Joints and rehabilitation

Physiotherapy
Treatment for spine, joint and muscle pain, built around restoring movement rather than only relieving pain. The initial check-up and assessment are free.

PRP and stem cell therapy
A PRP knee injection uses your own platelet-rich plasma, stem cells, or both together, to treat knee osteoarthritis. A single session takes 30 to 35 minutes and needs no downtime.

Knee exosome therapy
Exosomes are the signalling particles cells release to instruct other cells. Using them as a treatment is newer than PRP or stem cell injection, and the evidence behind it is younger. This page sets out what the treatment is and what is and is not yet established, because that is the honest basis for deciding.
Vaccination

Vaccination
Adult, childhood and travel vaccines, available individually or as a package that can be shared across a family. It is safer to be vaccinated than to have the infection.

Dengue vaccine
Dengue is endemic in Malaysia and Kepong sees it every year. Vaccination reduces the risk of symptomatic dengue and of the hospital admission a second infection can bring, which is where most of its value lies.

Influenza vaccine
Flu is not a heavy cold. For older adults, young children, pregnant women and anyone with a chronic condition, it is the illness most likely to turn into pneumonia or a hospital admission. The vaccine is annual, and there is a reason for that.

Pneumococcal vaccine
Streptococcus pneumoniae is the commonest bacterial cause of pneumonia, and it also causes meningitis and bloodstream infection. Unlike flu, this is not an annual vaccine, and for most adults who need it the course is short.
Weight management

Weight management
Malaysian guidance calls a BMI of 23 overweight and 27.5 obese, lower than the charts most people check against. What matters more is what the weight is already doing, which is a blood test rather than a number on a scale.

Mounjaro (tirzepatide)
A once-weekly injection that acts on two gut hormone receptors rather than one. It works while it is being taken, the dose climbs slowly for a reason, and there is a list of people it is not safe for. All three are on this page.
Wellbeing and IV therapy

Mental health
Assessment, talking therapy and medication for anxiety, depression, insomnia and related conditions, in the same clinic, from a doctor who also knows the rest of your medical history.

IV therapy
Intravenous vitamin and wellness infusions, given by a doctor either at the clinic or at your address across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Every drip starts with a consultation, because the point is to treat a deficiency you actually have.

NAD+ IV infusion
NAD+ is a coenzyme every cell uses to turn food into energy. Levels fall with age, and infusing it is an attempt to restore them. It is given slowly, over a longer session than a standard drip, under medical supervision.

IV exosome therapy
Exosomes are the signalling particles cells use to instruct other cells. Given intravenously they are being investigated as a systemic regenerative treatment. This is an emerging area, and this page is written to be straight about how emerging it is.

PRP facial therapy
Platelet-rich plasma drawn from your own blood and injected into the skin, to improve texture, soften acne scarring, and stimulate hair growth. Nothing synthetic is introduced.

Hair PRP
Platelet-rich plasma from your own blood, injected into the scalp to thicken hair that is thinning. It works on follicles that have shrunk, not on ones that have gone, so it is assessed before it is booked.

What a health screening looks for
A medical check-up is built around finding the things that carry no symptoms until they are advanced. These are the conditions the panel is aimed at, and what the clinic actually checks for each.
Diabetes- Fasting blood sugar, on the standard panel — high readings get followed up, not filed.
Hypertension- Blood pressure at every visit, and an ECG where the history warrants one.
Thyroid dysfunction- Thyroid function bloods, for the tiredness, weight change or palpitations that get blamed on something else.
Anaemia- A full blood count, which is where unexplained fatigue most often turns out to start.
Chronic hepatitis- Hepatitis B and C serology with liver enzymes, since chronic infection stays silent for years.
Cancers- Tumour markers, Pap smear, and abdominal or pelvic ultrasound, with referral onward if anything needs it.
Booking and enquiries
No appointment needed — walk in any day until 8pm. Ask first if you'd rather; consultations are confidential either way.
