Three IV therapies, and how much each one is proven

They are not the same kind of treatment. One corrects a deficiency you can test for, one is a reasonable idea still waiting on proof, and one is new. You should know which is which before you choose.

  1. IV therapy

    What it is for
Vitamins, minerals, glutathione or high-dose vitamin C, chosen for a deficiency or a goal found at the consultation.
    A session
About 45 minutes, at the clinic or at home.
    The evidence
Well establishedStrongest where there is a deficiency to correct. A drip delivers close to the full dose, where tablets are absorbed at roughly 20 to 30%.
  2. NAD+ IV infusion

    What it is for
NAD+, the coenzyme every cell uses to turn food into energy. Levels fall with age.
    A session
Two to four hours, given slowly and supervised throughout.
    The evidence
Partly establishedThat NAD+ falls with age is well documented. Whether an infusion brings the energy or longevity benefits people hope for is not yet proven.
  3. IV exosome therapy

    What it is for
Exosomes, the signalling particles cells use to instruct other cells, given into a vein instead of into one joint.
    A session
A short infusion, with observation before and after.
    The evidence
EmergingEarly laboratory work is interesting. Large, long-term human trials are not available yet, and the products are regulated differently from country to country.

How your drip is chosen

You do not pick from a menu. The doctor does, after looking at your history.

  1. Tell us what you want to fix

Tiredness, recovery, a low reading on a blood test, or a treatment you have read about. Say it on WhatsApp in your own words.

  2. Consultation

Your history, symptoms and medication. Bring your medication list and any recent blood results.

  3. The doctor recommends, or declines

Which drip fits, and why. If nothing on the list is the answer, the doctor says so. That is part of the consultation's job.

  4. The infusion

Given by a doctor or a certified nurse, with the rate adjusted to how you feel and a short observation afterwards.

  5. Follow-up

Questions afterwards go to the doctor who saw you, on WhatsApp. Any further sessions are planned from how you responded.

At the clinic, or at your address

The same doctors and nurses come to your home or office anywhere in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

Same standard of care
Licensed doctors and certified nurses, sterile and tested materials. A home visit is not a lighter version.
Family and group bookings
Several people can be treated in one visit, which is why households often book at home.
Coverage
Send the address when you message and we will confirm the timing.

When a drip is the wrong answer

Any of these means a conversation with the doctor before anything is given.

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Severe kidney, liver or heart disease
  • An active infection
  • An active or recent cancer, or chemotherapy and radiotherapy
  • Immunosuppressive treatment
  • A known allergy to any part of the infusion

Declining to give a drip is a legitimate result of a consultation. It is one reason there is a consultation.
